Ron Howard and Brian Grazer produced an excellent documentary detailing the over 100 years of child sex abuse covered up by the Boy Scouts of America for HULU called Leave No Trace.

82,000+ sexually abused Scouts have been waiting for over five years since their claims were filed. The Boy Scouts of America has a multi-billion-dollar trust fund to compensate Scouts who were abused and is eager to make payouts. However, a Texas court has placed the settlements on hold until all appeals are resolved.

It is agonizing and deeply unjust that we are forced to endure endless delays for the justice and closure we desperately deserve. As survivors, many of us are seniors grappling with serious health issues, myself included. Every delay feels like another blow, prolonging the suffering we've carried for far too long.

A group of ruthless lawyers, driven by greed, preyed on thousands of abused Scouts, signing them up with legal fees far higher than usual. But even after securing a multi-billion-dollar settlement fund, their hunger for more remains insatiable. Now, they're turning their sights on churches, schools, Boys Clubs, community centers, synagogues, and even private homes—any place that once offered sanctuary for Scout meetings—intent on squeezing out every last drop, no matter the cost.

My mission in this campaign is to illuminate the cruel reality that over 82,000 Boy Scouts continue to suffer in silence, their cries for justice drowned out by heartless court delays. Every day of inaction deepens their pain, and we cannot stand by any longer.

I implore every survivor of sexual abuse within the Boy Scouts and all who have suffered in silence to take part in this crucial campaign. Your voice matters. Share this link with your social networks—let’s stand together, heal together, and make sure no one suffers alone.

CALL to ACTION: Once a Boy Scout, Always a Boy Scout

On my honor, I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times, to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.

Every Boy Scout takes a sacred oath—a promise to help others always, especially their fellow Scouts. Today, I’m asking you to honor that spirit. Please, stand with us. Help me, help all of us, by supporting this campaign and inspiring others to do the same. Together, we can make a difference.

Here's a partial list, alphabetized by first name, of remarkable Boy Scouts who have left their mark on the worlds of entertainment, sports, politics, and business.

Two famous actors' names have been removed at their representatives' request. I doubt their clients would have wanted their names removed; no true Boy Scout would.

LOST VALLEY Movie: From 1964-67, my best friend and I were child prostitutes in an international pedophile ring run through the infamous Boy Scout Troop 137 in New Orleans.

LOST VALLEY is not the story you expect. It’s a love story, but not the kind you want to believe. Yes, I was abused—but it was consensual, or so I told myself. I was a painfully awkward kid, starved for worth, desperate for anything that felt like affection. That need turned into something darker—an emotional dependency I couldn’t break free from. It became my cage, one that Scoutmaster Johnny Green knew how to craft all too well. He wasn’t the first, and he won’t be the last. For people like him, controlling their victims is an art.

Home was a nightmare. My mother, ravaged by Multiple Sclerosis, lay helpless in her bed while my stepfather, drunk and cruel, unleashed his rage on me with words that cut deeper than the blows. Every day was a cycle of fear and pain. But Lost Valley and the Boy Scouts was my escape, my sanctuary. Even though I had to sell my body to survive, it was a kind of freedom compared to the prison of my own home.

I had planned to use my settlement from the Boy Scouts to produce a PG-13 movie that parents and children can watch together. Our movie will "educate through entertainment," so they all learn how to recognize emotional grooming, which leads to molestation and ruined lives.

After learning that it would be many more years before I received my settlement, I started this GoFundMe campaign.

LOST VALLEY will not be a documentary nor an anti-Scout movie. I believe in the core values of Scouting, which inspired me to become a Scoutmaster myself.

The $12 million budget is very modest by Hollywood standards, but we have proven our ability to make award-winning movies with much smaller budgets.

I wrote and directed the $500K low-budget award-winning movie Heart of the Beholder, which you can watch on Amazon Prime. See our investor testimonials.

Child sexual abuse survivor and actor Anthony Edwards is being considered for a lead role. Watch his interview.

Harry Connick Jr. will be offered the role of his real-life father, who served as the District Attorney of New Orleans and brought down the international pedophile ring run through the Boy Scouts.

Sincerely,
Ken and Darlene Tipton

The donated funds are currently deposited into my personal bank account. I plan to open a business account once our production reaches a stage that necessitates the creation to produce an independent film.
